Another shutout for Team USA! Aerin Frankel was really tested in this game. Team USA offense remains incredibly consistent.
The Abbey Murphy goal was my favorite of the game. The talent on this team is on another level.
I’m not worried about Team USA becoming overconfident and flopping in the gold medal game because they have so many veterans on this team who know what it’s like to lose to Canada.
P.S. Sweden had more shots on goal against USA (23) than Canada did in group stage (20) 👀. I think they played USA the best of any team so far in this tournament.

I predicted that this could be a low scoring affair, but it’s one thing to theorize it, and another thing to witness it.
Marie-Philip Poulin is a force of nature. I feel so lucky to be alive at the same time she is playing hockey. Despite being injured, she had two amazing goals, and the second one diving in mid air?
Also loved how mad she was in the box
I’m ngl I kind of gave up on Switzerland after the score went to 2-0 so I was SHOCKED when they scored. Switzerland has dug deep throughout this tournament and come up big when it mattered, I thought they were phenomenal today.
I still think the gold medal is USA’s to lose. Canada hasn’t shown me yet that they have what it takes to defeat USA, but if MPP will definitely be a huge difference maker.

Cayla Barnes GOALLLLLLLLL! I swear Cayla Barnes is so underrated, only 27 and yet this is her third Olympics. She’s a veteran defender on this team, so cool to see her open scoring in this semifinal.
