😭 RIP my Czech queens
Thank you Team Czechia for everything. ❤️
I had so much fun becoming a fan of this team. This story feels incomplete. I really thought they could have medaled. But I can’t wait to see this team shine in the next World Championships and even the next Olympics.
I was crushed for Czechia, but learning what Team Sweden went through to get to this moment made me really happy for them.

⏪ Game Recap: USA defeats Italy 6-0
This was the spiciest 6-0 hockey game I have ever watched omg. USA will most likely play Sweden next.

😵💫 My bracket is fucked
Sorry y’all, I thought the knockout stage was just a normal 1-8 bracket. But, it turns out that after the quarterfinals are finished, teams are re-seeded for the semifinal.
Assuming Canada defeats Germany in the quarterfinal:
USA will play Sweden in the semifinal
Canada will play the winner of Finland vs Switzerland in the semifinal
This is the most competitive women’s hockey Olympic tournament ever! The rules are so complicated and I’m glad that the Group B era is over. In my opinion, Sweden shows that the rules are outdated, because they are as good as Czechia, Finland, Switzerland, etc, so it doesn’t make sense for them to be treated differently as a group B team.
Coming soon
Tomorrow:
Canada vs Germany
Switzerland vs Finland
I really have my eye on Switzerland vs Finland, because whoever wins that one will most likely face Sweden for the Bronze medal. I think Finland is still the favorites, but Switzerland might upset them.
Did I mention that I’m still sad that Czechia is out of the tournament? 😭
